Cornerstone Development Project Named Finalist for HREI Insights Awards
A recent Cornerstone Companies Inc. (Cornerstone) development has once again been named a finalist in Healthcare Real Estate Insights magazine’s annual awards program, which recognizes excellence in healthcare real estate.
Cornerstone’s Urology of Indiana project, located at MedTech Park in Fishers, Ind., is a finalist in the category of “Best New Medical Office Buildings and Other Outpatient Facilities (less than 25,000 square feet)”. It is the only project in the state of Indiana to be recognized by HREI. Cornerstone was a finalist last year in the category of “Best New Medical Office Buildings and Other Outpatient Facilities (25,000 to 49,999 square feet)” for its Carmel, Ind. project with Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine.
“Despite COVID-19, or perhaps because of it, we had by far a record number of nominations this year,” said Murray W. Wolf, HREI publisher and founding editor. “We had 32 percent more nominations than in 2019. As we suspected, meeting the challenges of the pandemic resulted in some exceptional examples of healthcare real estate executive leadership and development.”
Cornerstone’s Urology of Indiana project, at 14300 East 138th Street, is a 22,000-square-foot, cutting-edge medical office building housing 12 urologic providers and several urologic service lines. The project is part of a larger MedTech development being brokered and managed by Cornerstone.
Cornerstone provided all development and construction services for Urology of Indiana’s new building and is also providing ongoing property and facility management services for the state-of-the-art facility. Cornerstone is also currently developing, building, and will manage an additional facility for Urology of Indiana which will open in 2021.
The winners of this year’s HREI Insights Awards will be announced in early December. Click here to learn more about the awards.
